Message from
the President
We are now in the year 2010. January 14 is the chapter 21st
birthday, having started on this date in 1989, with founders Vicki
Frisby, Ken Richardson, and Tim Wilson. In January, we will sign and
announce our MOUs with the Black EMC Affinity Group (BEAG) and
Northeastern Black Engineering Students Society (BESS) chapter of the
National Society of Black Engineering (NSBE). The new national officers
take their positions and we say a fond farewell to the outgoing
officers. We especially congratulate our own Edwin Sapp on his new
national position as the VP Member Services (VPMS) Institute IT
Training. Stay tune for an announcement of a Birthday party to
celebrate this and other achievements of our Chapter.
